Johnna Coleman, FNP-BC
Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
Johnna Coleman graduated from Holly High School in 1999 then left for the US Navy as a hospital Corpsman. After returning home in 2010, she attended D’Youville College for her BSN/MSN Family Nurse Practitioner. After graduation, she worked at Southtowns Pediatrics for 3 years, Grand Island Family Practice for 2 years, then started at Som Medical Practice in 2021.

Registered Nurse
Sarah Arno is a Registered Nurse with three years of experience in medical-surgical and pediatric care. She is known for her calm, compassionate approach and her ability to connect with patients of all ages. Her background reflects a strong foundation in acute care, balanced with a deep understanding of family-centered support.
Anna Cerroni
Medical Assistant / Front Desk
Anna, brings a wealth of experience to our team, with a background in both childcare and front desk management. Her warm, welcoming demeanor ensures every patient feels comfortable and valued from the moment they walk through our doors. Outside of the office, Anna keeps busy working at a local ice cream shop in her community, where she combines her passion for customer service with a love for all things sweet.

What pediatric services do you offer?
We provide comprehensive pediatric care, including routine check-ups, vaccinations, developmental assessments, and treatment for acute and chronic conditions.
Do you accept new patients?
Yes, we are accepting new patients.
Can I get same-day sick visits for my child?
Same-day sick visits are available for established pediatric patients at Healthy Beginnings Pediatrics in Hamburg, NY. You can schedule for a same-day sick visit by calling 716-202-0401.
Does my child have to be vaccinated to come to your facility?
Whether you decide to vaccinate or not, your child is welcome at our practice.
My child is sick but is not yet a patient at your practice. Can I schedule my child for a sick visit?
Unfortunately, your child must first be established as a patient in order to schedule them for a sick visit. Please bring your child to an urgent care or the ER. Once your child is better, you can schedule a new patient appointment for them.
What should I bring for my first visit?
Parent/Guardian ID, insurance cards and any co-payments
What is the schedule for well-child visits?
Well visits are scheduled Monday - Friday for ages birth - 18 years of age.
What if I need to reach you after-hours?
Call the main phone number for Healthy Beginnings Pediatrics and leave a message for the on call provider and your call will be returned within 1 hour for all existing patients.
How do I refill my child’s prescriptions?
Contact your pharmacy and ask them to fax us a request, call the office and leave a message, or text us on Emitrr.
Do you offer telehealth? If so, details?
Yes for existing patients who are receiving results or have a minor acute problem. Virtual visits are an exception and in person is the primary care model for this office.
What vaccines do you offer? What is the schedule?
We offer all childhood vaccinations that are mandatory in NYS for school or daycare. We provide vaccines on Mondays in the office and never during a well visit. We pride ourselves on making the well-visits truly well visits and allowing the child to feel comfortable and safe. Vaccines are available for all children if the parent chooses this pathway of care. We follow the childhood vaccine schedule, unless otherwise requested by the parent. We allow freedom of choice and delay in schedule if requested by the parent. Education is provided but choice is supported.
